SAM: (yelling over the rapids) That's right, hold on!
Angela does, as she is bounced up and down on the side of the raft splashing in and out of the water. But then she suddenly feels her fingers being peeled away from holding onto the strap. She can't see why or that Weldon is pulling them off one by one. She just watches helplessly as they are torn away from the strap.

Jack motions for the Cameraman to keep filming. DISSOLVE in and out of specific petroglyphs as Sam speaks. CUTAWAYS to reveal the group listening.

SAM: (O.S) Our Elders left us these precious carvings as a way of reminding them, and us of our origins. In their last days, old Father and Mother Kauite retreated to these caves to escape the sorrow of their people. (He shines the light across images) You see they had two sons. The eldest son was most like his Father in learning the old ways and traditions of his people, The youngest son saw a new and changing world before him. The sons began to feud, and families took sides. The hearts of our first parents were broken and because the two sons refused to make peace, we were given the name of Kauites, which in our tongue means "sad division". To this day, the Kaiute nations are bitterly divided.

Sam looks back as the bull begins to charge him and Clown #2. They both try to outrun the bull, but the bull hits Clown #2 and sends him down on all fours scrambling. Sam turns around frozen and ready to help, when the bull horns Clown #2 straight through the thigh. As the bull jerks away, Clown #2 goes down immobilized and bloody. The crowd erupts in a gasp. The bull is going to gore Clown #2 to death when Sam runs over and grabs Clown #2 and starts to carry him away running. But the bull charges and tramples Sam from behind boring him through the side. Sam manages to push the injured Clown #2 away from the bull. SEVERAL CLOWNS rush out to distract the bull. Spectators shout their horror, and fear fills Angela's face. The Clowns go to work, and the bull is finally distracted away from Sam, who lays in a heap in the dirt. EMT's rush to the scene.
